Since years the Atomic Superpark on the Dachstein Glacier is known to be one of the best snowparks in Europe! QParks-Parkdesigner and Snowboard-Pro Bernd Mandlberger and his motivated crew give their best and shape perfect parks. Here you get a little overview how the park evolved over the years.
The Atomic Superpark Dachstein helped a lot of local shredders get really good over the past few years. It’s that simple: Wherever there is a perfect setup, there are good riders after a couple of years.

I'm already on my way back home to Finland from New Zealand. I had 4 and half weeks to learn some new tricks, get some footages, photos and have fun with my friends. Right now after the trip I feel so good and I have to say It was the best start for me ever. I got some footages, photos and the most important thing I learned some new tricks. The place where we were riding was pretty amazing. We didn't get too many perfect days but the days when it was perfect we used it really well. Kicker line with a few rails was so good almost all the time. Last week in NZ was definitely the best. I think the best motivation for me was the level of the riding which was crazy. In the halfpipe you have to do almost 4 double corks if you wanna win something and in the slopestyle it's almost the same. That's what is professional snowboarding in these days. Use your balls mate!!! Beside snowboarding I got a lot of new experiences like bungey jump with really bad double backflip...It was just sooo bad. And I was playing football, tennis etc.. almost everyday after the day of snowboarding with my finnish buddys like Janne Korpi, Jaakko Ruha, Antti Autti, Peetu Piiroinen, Markus Malin, Markku Koski, Risto Mattila and one french rider Mathieu Crepel. Trip was so much fun and a time in NZ went almost too fast. I was thinking to stay longer but cause' of the long season It's important to stay far from the injuries. But anyway, I'm stoked and really looking forward the next trip to Austria on the beginning of next month. remember to keep your dreams!!!

Opening at the Dachstein Clacier
The ATOMIC Superpark at the Dachstein Glacier is finally opening!
Good news for those who still wallow in memories of their jumps at the ATOMIC Superpark Dachstein: It's snowbing and a new brilliant season can begin! With about a meter of fresh snow in the last days enough of the "white magic" is available to start the construction works in the park.
Thanks to the good snow conditions the upcoming weekend (24th - 25th of October 2009) will be all about freestyle pleasure as the ATOMIC Superpark Dachstein opens its gates for the first time. From then on the course will grow constantly and the chef park designer Bernd Mandlberger is confident to create a funny and creative set-up on the "Hunerkogel" once again.
13th - 15th of November = 4* Snowboarding, Party, Chillout, Scene Come-together.
For the seventh time, the Schladming-Dachstein region will become setting and part of the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour for the whole of three days.

Queralt got 4th
US CHEVROLET GRAND PRIX in Copper Mt.
The preparation for the olympics are going well.
Queralt is already in north america and competes again the best of the world. On the 14th of december she got 4th at the US CHEVROLET GRAND PRIX in Copper Mt. and she feels very confident to compete with the best riders around the world.

Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam

Power up, girls!
The seventh version of the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam on the Dachstein glacier gets another upgrade in 2009! Last year Sarka Panconchova, Silli Mittermüller and Enni Rukajarvi showed the organiser QParks that they were well prepared to handle the Set-Up of the ATOMIC Superpark Dachstein. They showed some really technical moves and demonstrated the high level of women's snowboarding in an awesome manner. As a result in 2009, next to the who-is-who of the international male snowboarding scene, 20 of the top female riders get the chance to compete for the desired 4 TTR stars and for a fair share of the cake worth 15.000,- USD.
And the starting list stands for the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam's international importance: Beside riders form Central Europe like Austria, Germany and Swiss, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Hungary, competitors from Finland, Swerden, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and USA and more have announced to come. All freestyle enthusiasts who are eager to attain the contest should hurry up as the registration is almost over. Go to www.pleasurejam.com to get one of the few remaining places on the waiting list. Anyway all riders and spectators should convice themselves what an event can look like.
The Matterhorn is done!

Ueli Kestenholz
was the first one who had a run off the top of the Matterhorn.
To ride this steep and exposed mountain it is a must have to have perfect snow- and weather condition as well as perfect wind conditions.
May 20th was the day!!! The peak looked unbelievable impressive. After a short but intensiv meeting with the whole crew Ueli started his journey with the helicopter to the peak of the Matterhorn. The wind was just light and the conditions almost perfect so the advanture started...

Queralt gets fourth place

Our spanish Teamrider Queralt went to NZ to participate at the 2010 LG Snowboard FIS World Cup Halfpipe. After some days of training she competed against the best female riders around the world and sticked some awesome tricks.
Her comment:
"I think this was the highest level I ever competed in halfpipe. I'm stoked about the result and totally motivated to improve my technical attitutes as well as my skille in height and power. I'm definately looking forward to the Olympics!!!"
- so do we! looking forward and we know with our support Queralt will have a great season 09/10.

Queralt is practacing in the US at the moment and taking part of contest to see her level of riding in comparism to her competitors. Now she won the Dew Tour. We are super proud of her and push the thumbs for the Olympics.
